I have a friend who is a carpenter. He often tells me about the different properties that he has been working in. He has recently been working in a really expensive place and they have been renovating just one room. He has been telling me about the fantastic solid wood floors throughout the place as he knows that I am a fan of them. He is also taken with all of the feature fireplaces and the simple decoration which allows the furniture and pictures to become the highlights of the room. He says that he always gets worried about even walking in the house with his shoes on because it is so lovely but because he has to use his tile cutting tools and other things like it, he needs to make sure that his feet are protected against accidents. He has therefore bought some plastic covers to place on his feet when he walks through the house which will ensure that he does not carry dirt through from outside to the inside. He is hoping that it means he will leave a lasting impression which is overall positive as he thinks that there could be quite a lot more work in the house as they have a lot of bathrooms and it would be a really nice job for him to get.
